Opinion Markets [Coming Soon]

Opinion Markets are an upcoming innovation on Predify. Unlike traditional markets that depend on external events or data feeds, these resolve algorithmically based on the collective opinions of participants themselves.

They’re built for real-time culture, where questions evolve faster than news cycles:

  • Who’s the best rapper of the decade?

  • Which Layer-1 will dominate in 2026?

  • Is AI a bigger threat or opportunity?

  • Who would win in a boxing match: Elon or Zuckerberg?

How It Works

1. Market Creation A creator launches a topic with 2 to 32 outcomes. Each outcome gets its own bonding curve, giving traders full freedom to back whichever side they believe in, from “Ethereum” to “Solana,” or “Yes” to “No.”

2. Participation Users buy shares in the outcome they support. Early conviction pays off: the earlier you enter on the curve, the higher your potential upside. Positions stay private until resolution, ensuring fair play and preventing herd behavior.

3. The Meta Guess (Crowd Forecast) When entering a position, users also predict how many others will agree with their choice, a second layer of forecasting that measures how well you understand the crowd. Example: you select “Yes” and estimate that 60% of participants will do the same.

4. Resolution & Payouts When the market closes, the final distribution of opinions is revealed. Participants in the majority outcome get their initial stake back plus a share of the losing pools. Rewards scale with accuracy, the closer your crowd prediction is to reality, the greater your payout.

Why Opinion Markets Matter

  • Cultural Liquidity → speculation on social and cultural moments, priced in real time.

  • Algorithmic Resolution → no oracles or external data; markets resolve purely on-chain.

  • Privacy by Design → hidden positions ensure authentic participation and prevent bias.

  • Collective Intelligence → rewards both conviction and understanding of sentiment trends.

  • Creator Empowerment → anyone can launch a viral debate and earn from engagement.

Opinion Markets turn culture into a liquid asset class, where every conversation, meme, and movement can be traded, measured, and monetized, directly on-chain.
